Technical '06 Panda crank sensor issue.....

It's obvious that it's ECU side because it's completely dead at ignition off (no ECU power) that's how i figured it out but one more question priming is enough or want me to crank?

Nothing on both signals on positive and negative while priming and cranking aswell

Can i try the same on the injectors just to be sure? Or it won't work?
No spark

No click

We already know the answer

Doesn't work on a running engine as the ECU switches the injector off I have tried

Unsure about while cranking I'd guess it should work but that's a guess

But before deciding on that, the guy that checked it said that it is functional so shouldn't the BCM be faulty?

We don't know what's wrong

We have no errors that should stop the car from running

The immobilizer is off

We have a crank signal

We have power to the coils and injectors

We have no communication whatsoever to the injector or coils from cranking or the scan tool

Its unlikely to be either as it works sometimes

Ok so the ECU is reading the CPS signal and giving RPM feedback normally on the scan tool
I am still suspecting the cranksensorwiring. It may give the right signal for the revcounter, but not the signal the ECU needs.

We tried to eliminate that possibility by activating the injectors from multiecuscan, without cranking

The relay to power the injectors energises

There's is battery voltage going to the injector

But there's no ground side switching at all

The injectors test fine manually grounded

Where is the ECU taking it's ground?
Try an extra ground maybe?
Been done and tested

Although there are several different ground pins on the connectors

Maybe we need to go through them all with a load incase one is floating

Seems like someone has been here before as there's two bolted to heatsink

The dualogic confusess things, it probably cuts the ECU under certain circumstances, as far as I know

Let's start at the begining

I have to make do with what wiring I have, the dualogic 2008

Is this cable present

From the ECU to the chassis leg

As for this ground you did mention from below the fuse box no there isn't there's these 2 that i previously told you about one is inside the upper loom and the other goes to a ground below the windshield and they are merged together

There's got to be a clue there somewhere

Fiat didn't screw a bolt in without it doing something

My guess is the one under the windscreen should go under here
