Technical '06 Panda crank sensor issue.....

Oh and i used to make the gearbox downshift when I'm too lazy to use the lever by simply applying brakes enough for the ECU to read the switch activated and downshift without actually pushing on the brake pedal so I'm not sure if this trick causes this DTC to appear

Perfect

It limits the current to around 200mA

Let's try and trip a fault at the ECU on purpose

One end on battery positive the other on the ECU side of the injector and crank the engine, foot on brake, in neutral

It should trigger a fault code injector shorted to power

If doesn't swap the lead to battery negative

It should trigger a fault code injector shorted to ground

The lamp is 12v 5w now it's too dark gonna do it tomorrow morning hopefully my dad would land me a hand to do it gonna go with ancel and clear every single fault available then do your trick and see what we get

If it doesn't work want me to put a 10w one if it doesn't work? I can build a lamp with 2 wires and connect it

Nope

My test light trips a code, and shuts the injector off

Which is how I know you can't test them with a test lamp

But we can use this fact to see if the ECU is in fact monitoring the injector cables at all

Using the test lamp limits the current to a value that's ECU safe

Oook so something that changed everything is this injector while trying to figure out which one is the signal wire this sent me confused about it all this is the first injector driver side, we were testing the first one passenger side which means there's definitely something wrong over here

That's what i got after unplugging after testing later on is this normal at all?

No battery voltage both sides all the way to the ECU

Double check the connector is fully inserted

Double check the back probe there quite difficult to get good contact
After checking again they were right on battery voltage both sides all of them and after checking on the scan tool i got:

rpm sensor intermittent
And motorized throttle stop learn as i used to get before on the ECU

And on the bcm i got the picture with the new code below

Ok and one more thing after probing the injector first one on the side of the driver and connecting the 12v tester to it i started smelling raw gasoline (as all spark plugs are disconnected)

And forgot to mention that i didn't get any DTCs and surprisingly even the phonic relearn learn error is gone after doing that

When the relay is activated battery voltage both sides is what you expect to see all the way to the ECU

In the video with the unsteady voltage, what's happening inside the car, ignition switched on and off, injector test being preformed

I don't know what happened there. this weirdness went out after i unplugged the injector and replugged it

And this is the injector now doing to the negative battery terminal first one in the video is the signal wire and the second is the solid 12v and even after multiple cranking there's no DTC on the ECU and after replugging now the spark plugs i can feel the starter lowering at a certain zone while cranking not sure if it's compression or something else

Ok more updates is that i went ahead and did the probing of the 12v tester on all signal wires of the injectors and coil packs one by one turned out the ECU cuts the signal at random as it starts pulsing then sometimes after 3 seconds the tester goes out while I'm still cranking but this is a random thing not always happening and i activated the injectors checking that they are all working with the tester and the positive battery terminal they are all ticking

Slow down

You can see pulsing while cranking

And then the ECU cut power

Or are you seeing the lamp glow with battery voltage and that's being stopped

At random it glows with the crank of the car and stops after 3 seconds while still cranking

Glow probably while the starter struggle against the compression you can see in the video
