My 1.6 stilo is cutting out when going from 3rd to 2nd gear and some times there is an eratic idle and then cuts out any one had the same problem any help would be great.

It's under warranty. Take it to the dealer.

My stilo use to cut out when I was slowing down, and the idling was eratic, I took it to the dealer and they replaced the throttle body, it seems to have cured it. Hope this helps.

The early Stilo 1.6's had problems with their throttle bodies that casued them to cut out, and to have erratic idle's. Also, as I was told, the computer often wouldn't display the "Engine Fault" as it should.
