Question Ignition Switch Light

With the clocks going back, I've found myself fumbling to get the key into the ignition on a number of occasions. It was only recently, that I suddenly remembered why I should find that so annoying I'd just remembered that my old Rover used to illuminate the ignition switch during the entry phase and I'd automatically assumed the Stilo would have the same feature (seeing as it lights just about everything else).

This would seem to be an unfortunate oversight during design but just to make sure I haven't got a duff bulb - would anyone like to confirm this?

Re: Ignition Switch Light

No the ignition doesnt light up, but its quite simple just put the key in before you shut the door, so the interior light lights it up

Sounds simple enough - I'll give it a try

Re: Ignition Switch Light

You should have a few seconds of light after the doors shut aswell, i usually use it to find the power button for my headunit!

I wonder if your solution might solve this problem too ?

https://www.fiatforum.com/showthread...+steering+lock

I get this a fair bit and wonder if getting the ignition turned on a bit quicker might resolve it - although I think it's more likely just a chance affair of where the wheel is left i.e so it can lock easily.

Re: Ignition Switch Light

Interior light ignite when you unlock the doors, and stay like that for about 30secs or until you put the key in the ignition!
