So I have a car security loose connection error, car won't turn over, wont even attempt to, I had a read and found a few threads on the forums but none that mention my specific problem.

when you put the key in and turn it the bc (ontop of the battery) starts making a shorting out sound, it's like a rapid clicking sound. It's directly under a relay and you can feel the vibration when you touch it (the relay circled in green)

I tried replacing it, made no difference, every now and again after trying to start it for about 30 mins you can hear the starter motor click once or twice.

I'm at an absolute loss as to what could be the issue as it was working fine the night before and just refused to start in the morning, anyone got any ideas as to where to start ?

Typical symptoms of a faulty or discharged battery, or poor connection(s) at the battery terminals or engine or chassis earthing points.

What do you mean by bc in "the bc (ontop of the battery)"?
.

iv'e tried using a spare battery + checked all of the connections and earths and that didn't work, the body computer, or that's what iv'e been told it is on top of the battery(in the picture)

The item that sits on top of the battery is fuse/relay board, do you have a cover for the battery and relay board, as if not there is a good possibility you may moisture from road spay in the relay board.

ahhh, my mistake :L, yeah it has a cover and nothing looks corroded or even slightly damp, got a guy coming to see if he can get a fault code/possibly fix it today
