ive used and recommended in the past bg244 for jtd injectors (as a yearly fuel system cleanout not per tank)and used maybe 4 cans over the years, no issues just felt like a change and had noticed this ar6400-cr listed.
had said in another thread I might try this one next so I did.
I think my injectors are in reasonable condition and have regularly logged injector correction values so the data here will be all logs.
there are many things other than injector condition going on that will affect correction values, this time of year ambient temperature mostly so even day to day logs vary to some degree depending on say a warm 7-10degc compared to a frosty -1 frosty day.
instead of adding to fuel tank, I decided to attempt a direct contact process by injecting 30ml at a time directly into the fuel filter(after removing 30ml of diesel)(the jtdm has a canister with quick push fit connections, so was not too messy to remove and add, I can see screw on canisters may not lend themselves to this method)
next the car was started and shortly idled enough for the additive to circulate through the hp pump/regulator , fuel rail and injectors.the engine was then stopped to let the product work in high concentration.
this process was repeated several times over a long weekend, start the car to purge standing particulates from previous treatment, stop car, remove 30ml diesel, add 30ml ar6400-cr, start and idle and again eng off and let stand to work.
ive labelled logs and pics as best I could to be accurate cold starts are just that ,cool starts are usually a few minutes of idling after cold start , others may have actual eng temps.
fuel in tank at time shell v power
first 30ml cold start at 4c ambient

2nd 30ml cool start 4c ambient

3rd 30ml cold start 6c ambient

4th 30ml cool restart 6c ambient after reset learned parameters with mes

1 week on no further additive cold start 5c ambient

following above log 5c ambient more cycles of idle and 2000rpm

following again now warmish 45c engine temp

again now 72c engine temp

again 75c engine temp

75c again cycling idle 2000rpm

80c engine temps

this was after an oil /filter change plus some friction modifier in engine and gearbox(I don't think has altered the inj cor values in any way)
still on shell v power no fuel additives(injector cleaner circulating in a fairly strong concentration )

tank refilled with just plain shell fuel save but my mix of cetane booster and 2 stroke oil
these last 3 are today
frosty cold start

end of journey fully warm engine

and again another log

after thoughts, after refilling with my mix of additive engine feels and sounds more smooth and slightly quieter again than it did with pure v power even before I did the injector cleaner I noticed the difference.
my injector correction hasnt improved much, but was there much to improve, it cant repair internal wear or mechanical issues(which may also manifest themselves in correction values, like bad compression cylinder to cylinder balance )
from what figures ive seen on the net im still within spec at +/- 0.9mm3 or slightly out at +/- 0.6mm3 and also no confirmation at what conditions these values apply, ive always took as idle, others say at 2000rpm.
at 2000rpm historically values have always closed up more to towards zero(as id expect)
ill recheck again on a nice warm day.
here are a couple of old 2012 logs to compare
cold start

and warmer restart

if helpful as nothing else but a source of example reasonable condition injectors (jtdm cf4) range of values under varying conditions.
ps remainder of the bottle of ar6400-cr is going to be added to a tank at a later date , or maybe split up to add per tank.
