Picked up a lovely Stilo 1.4 Active A/C on Saturday but the boot won't open
Thought it was a dud battery, but it is no charged up properly and there is still no joy.
Managed to get it open twice yesterday (after many tries), however, today, nothing, can't even hear the motor trying to work.

Any tips?
How do I get it open and how do I repair this??

Hoping some of you guru's can help me here as I'm new to FIAT, but not to fiddling with cars

Try opening it with the remote key.
After the battery is changed the boot won't open until you open it with the remote.

I had this issue on my Multiwagon the other day, I could open it via the key fob remotely but not by the release button in the boot.


Mine turned out to be in the menu on the mode switch in the dash, i had turned it off by mistake when playing with the options lol, I turned the Boot option back on and it fixed the issue. I don't know if the Hatch is the same or weather you even have a hatch lol, but this might be a clue to help you out.

Make sure the glass window in the boot lid is shut properly otherwise the boot won’t open.
Not sure about the hatchback but on the estate the glasspart of the boot opens separately.
