Just signed the papers for a new Stilo :D

All I have to do now is find something to do for the next 2 months (I hate waiting for a new car.....I want it NOW!!) ;)

Aahhhh well, that's the price you pay for ordering one which hasn't been build yet.

:) Hmmmmmmmm...... :p

Hope you got a good deal. Whats the best deal someone has managed to get on a new car? Usually pre-reg is the way to go for hefty discounts, and high depreciation of the paid the full whack owners!

On that note, good choice of car! :) I was just checking parkers guide, and i'm still in the money regarding my car/offset against my loan!

Okay okay.....calm down :D

The details:

It's a 3dr Multijet in technogray (i think?!? - colour code is 698).
It's a Dynamic (i know you can't compare models from different countries, so it may not have the same basics as a Dynamic in the UK or any other contry).
Extras ordered are climate control, cruise control, leather steering wheel and gear knop, sideskirts and rearspoiler (the one over the back window) and climate package (including heated front seats, heated windscreen sprinklers and headlight sprinklers).
And when i get it, i will buy 17" wheels (the claws!!!).

I really don't wan't to compare prices with you people from the UK (and all other countries in the EU), because you don't have our INSANE!!!! tax system. :bang: but without tax the price is 8487.94 britsh pounds.

Man i can't wait to get it. :D

Think when i sell my car i'll drive it to Denmark, make a killing!

You should actually buy your next car in Denmark. We have some the lowest prices on cars before tax. Now i don't know how you tax on cars is decided, but many germans and swedes buy cars in Denmark.
The price i gave you in the previous post was before tax, after tax the price on the car is pretty much 3 times as high.

Whow!! That's a nice acr!! In spain you can't get heated sprinklers anywhre(not that we actually need them), actually, we can't get sprinklers for the headlights at all!!! We can only get cruise control as standard aon slespeeds and heated seats is a very expensive extra that comes on it's own.

This brings me to my next question; if Fiat can fit a cruise control on a multijet(with no little active matrix screen between the dials), can they fit a cruise control on my multijet???? I'd really like to have one!!

I have no idea if cruise control can be fitted after the car is build. In Denmark we can order cruise control on all models (from 1,4 16V to 2,4 20V incl. all the diesels), so I don't think it has anything to do with the matrix display between the dials. But of course I could be wrong ;)

How is the multijet in acceleration? I haven't driven one (yet):(

I have driven the new 150bhp in the Alfa 147 and I can tell you it is amazing. It picks up speed with such breathless ease, and is never troubled when you want more power. A stunning engine.

The multijet is great. Fiat says it's got 140 bhp but a magazine put it on the machine and got almost 150 bhp so you can imagine what it's like to drive.
The car is really fast as long as you keep it above 1500 revs(below that it's just crap) and at 2000 revs (when turbo kiks in) you get an explosion of power which is incredible and lasts til about 4000 revs (which forces you to do alot of gear work if you want fast acceleration).
The other day, on the motorway (it was raining), i was pulling away from a toll and floored it all the way up to 140 kph and i got wheel spin up to 4th gear(4th included) !!!!!!!!(the little yellow skid light just kept falshing and i couldn't believe it)

The six speed gearbox that comes with it is very good but the first 3 gears ar so short that you have to be extremely fast changing gears to be able to get a really good accelration. With a friend we calculated that i did 0-100kph (0-62mph) in just under 9 seconds :D which i thought was very good given that Fiat claims 9,5seconds

Have fun mate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (y)

It's a shame that Fiat haven't done a hot JTD abarth version yet as Seat have the Leon cupra TDI which has 150bhp + 228lbs/ft of torque.
