Hey Guys,

Well I have finally killed my P Zero Neros on 17in blades and I need new tyres, I was really happy with the Nero's apart from I went through two sets of front tyres in 20,000 miles. I'm not sure if this is normal but it just seemed a little excessive as I tend to just do motorway driving and only really cain the car once in a blue moon.

I have been mooching round and am a bit on the poor side this year after having my salary reduced by almost 9 grand :( totally sucks.

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with Marangoni Mythos tyres, I have been quoted at my local tyre shop 66 quid a corner fitted including valve and balance. Is this reasonable and are these tyres any good. Apparently there XL with a load rating of 91 and Y rated.

215/45/17/Y which is the same as the Neros that are currently on the car.

I would go with the Nero's again but I don't have 400 quid to hand.

Please advice,

Cheers,

Warren :D

On another note.....
Had to drive my mate's Multiwagon home from the pub last night and noticed that his clutch is alot lighter than my Abarth's, his is a 1.6 active is this correct should the Abarth one be heavier.

Thanks PNL,

"Mytyres.co.uk" are around the same price for the Marangoni's I might see if they could fit them near my place of work as that would probably be more convent for me.

Well after doing some poking round I have found out that Marangoni is actually owned by Pirelli the only difference is that the Pirelli's are now manufactured in Brazil whereas the Marangoni's are still made in Italy.

Looking at the reviews they seem to be very similar to my old Zero Nero's but cost about £100 less for a set of 4. I think I might be giving them a whirl. But before I get them fitted I'm going to have to get my wheels sorted out as I ended up curbing the passenger side when someone drove the wrong way down an exit ramp at St. Helen's car park "Grrrr!"

Look forward to any more feedback and will let you all know how I go on.;)

Cheers Coyle,

Will give them a go, am deffo getting them fitted by an indipendent station though all the online places that want fully fitted are rip offs, seem to slap on an extra £20 a corner, managed to find a garage in warrington that will fit them for £9.50 :D
