Rear lights

I know a lot of people say the rear lights on the 3 door are one of the attractive features, but I really don't like them. Does anyone know how or where I could get something to modify them. I don't much like the Lexus style fittings, plus I haven't seen them for a Stilo. What I would ideally like is a fully finished body coloured unit that separates the lights into circular units, but I don't want something that looks like it has been stuck on like most of these units seem to. I would want a seemless joint with the rear side wings and the area above and below the current light unit at the back.

Re: Rear lights

You could tint them if you're handy with a spray can

Re: Rear lights

I did think about that. I think they would look better tinted rather than the irregular red and clear mixture, but I would prefer to change the shape totally.

Talking Bravo Vs Stilo (again!!!)

No offense but the Bravo lights have had there day, they were something different when new, but the tinted look has been well copied now. I know 'lexus' lights aren't all that original either, but the Stilo's lights are a little unique being arrow shaped.

I reckon you'll have a job finding aftermarket jobbies TBH, cos like you say, they are viewed as a good feature, so there probably isn't the market for them.

Re: Stilo in................................

Stilo lights are so cool that Vauxhall stole the design, made s botch of it and fitted to their new abortion, the new Astra. Back of a Stilo, front of a Corsa, wheel arches of the Focus, the rest of the body was their own design, see my point.... a mess.

Anyway i digress.

Re: Rear lights

Note the past tense, I "did" prefer the Bravo lights, I realise they are dated and wouldn't want something like that on my Stilo, just don't want the Stilo lights, they look like they are made of Lego. Sorry to be contraversial, but taste is very personal.

Re: Rear lights

Yes, Lego is good, when you want to keep young kids amused for a while, but I wouldn't want the same young kids to build my car.

Excellent input Paul, well done.

Re: Another.......................

Oh yes TC, play that card, again. Obviously that's because I can't string two words together and hence don't work to get a job, or is it because I go to university 29 hours a week?

For the number of recurring faults on the Stilo I feel my statement is justified when stiloboy made the same comment re: vauxhall. Anybody who fails to see the depriciation of the stilo, the low number of sales and the faults such as tyre wear are just pretending to themselves "because it's a fiat". Now I do like the stilo but that doesn't mean it's a good car, a good car would need things like 4 tyres touching the ground properly in 4 places.
