browing the VOSA website and it looks like the Stilo has had a new one issued on the 20/04/07

My VIN number is affected and it looks like alot of others are as well.

I think Bozzy had this pully replaced on his JTD ~~~~~

You would have thought tho if its dangerous they would have sent out recall letters

there has been a post in the GP section saying he's just had his letter about this.

The recall was only issued on the 20th April so it maybe a while before people get their letters, my spring recall took over a month to come after the issue date.

I still haven't had that spring catcher abortion recall yet.

Its a old recall (VOSA are very slow!) and affects only a small range of chassis numbers on a few models.If your car is one of them you will be contacted.

Looking at it, it only affects Chassis numbers:
00576160
00583184 -> 00630209

Hardly a mass-recall event. Although I would be interested to know what engines this covers, I did see a similar bulletin for the 1.2's listed at a FIAT dealer some time ago.

Take a look at other makes of car.....

I rang my local dealer (Old's of Dorcehster) to see if mine was affecting by the engine pully recall just after I'd first read about it on here somewhere, and they had no idea about it, they even checked the computer in Turin...and....nothing, nada, zip, sweet FA. Makes me wonder how people here find these things out lol.

Maybe the "computer in Turin" is still as seen on The Italian Job (original), with the two large tape reels... bobololololob bobolololob.... bobolo bob.. <crash>
