ok, this is really pissing me off at the moment lol, im on vodafone.

nokia n90, the 3g thing, it has signal on 'normal' what ever its called and when it loses signal with that it searches for 3g, but then it stays on 3g, which has bad reception and doesnt change back, so i have no reception until i turn the phone off then back on.

can i change this? is it a fault? its only been doing it for past 3 weeks, and today, it really pissed me off so i remembered to psot on here about it lol.

Its in the Phone Menu somewhere:

Menu > Settings > Network > (Network Mode or Operator Select)
This might fix your network problem


If not to reset your phone:

Menu > Settings > Phone > General > Orig. Phone Settings

As this is a thread by Beau, shouldn't the title be, "This phone is ****. Don't buy it. Ever" Or something like that.

do i click umts or gsm? lol

UMTS is 3G mode

GSM is Standard mode
