Hi, my 1995 Punto 55S has developed intermittent power loose for a couple of weeks. When the engine is cold, it works fine, but when engine is normal temperature it does following: Suddenly it looses power, it's like engine braking and the speed is slowing down. If you push pedal down, it doesn't help and speed is still slowing down. Suddenly it catches again and everything is normal. No any lights come on and I have changed coil packs and spark plugs.

The fact that it only does it when the engine is hot suggests it's something electrical.. coils would be my first choice but you've changed yours.

If you can get hold of a second-hand TDC sensor to see if that solves the problem, it may be worth a try.

Also, what's your fuel consumption like..? A dodgy lambda sensor might cause a transitional hiccup as the temperature changes..
