I bought my 2012 punto GBT 5 door just over 2 months ago now from a main fiat dealer. But after a few days I noticed a slight vibration while idling, when im driving its fine only happens when the engine is at idle.
The vibration isn't that strong, it comes and goes every few seconds and you can feel it though your seat and the floor pan. Plus it looks like the engine movement in the bay is moving more than it should too. Plus the vibration is less while the clutch pedal is depressed.
I took it back to fiat and one of the mechanices that looked at it first said he could feel something, so he booked it in. A few days later I took it in fiat to be sorted out and the same guy said its normal and they was nothing wrong it the car
Im thinking of taking to another garage today just to check it over. I suspect it could be the engine mounts, but I dont really know. Anyone have any ideas ?
