Can anybody help me?

My Cobra Daytona Racing seat on the passenger side is too high due to the drivers side having a smaller subframe as it has seat height adjustment. I thought about buying a drivers side subframe for a Left Hand Drive Fiat Punto Mk1, but Fiat want to charge me £100 + VAT, with no refund if it doesnt fit, and I dont wanna take the risk.

Does anybody have any advice?

cant you use a drivers side subframe on the passengers side?not on fiats but ive done this on a few marques.there often the same fittings to save on costs
