I've had a leak of petrol somewhere above the tank. I discovered that it was leaking from the case of the fuel pump (accessible under the back seat), in a quarter of that reinforced smaller circle.

I have cleaned the area, degreased it with a WD-40 electrical contact cleaner, sanded it with 120 grit (so that glue attaches better) and filled the hole with 2-component epoxy glue.

You can see in the photos before and after.

Rare.... and weird place for a crack.... ive never heard of a punto pump cracking....
