Hi!
New to the forums. So basically yesterday my Punto Mk2 1.2L 8v 2002 started making a squeling noise when I press the clutch pedal to change gears, and then it goes away. I would describe the noise as a belt or something. I have looked online and found this could be the throw out bearing or pilot bearing, depending if sound occurs when slightly or fully depressing clutch (unfortunately I did not notice when sound came on).
Today, just 1 day after, after driving a bit, suddenly when pressing the clutch to shift gears, I feel a very strong vibration on pressing the clutch a bit, and I could not fully depress the clutch (vibrations were so strong) and hence change gears. Car works normally in neutral though and no sounds or vibrations. Also, if this helps, when car is off I can shift gears.
I have just changed my clutch including throw out bearing 2 years ago. What do you think is happening please guys? I would really appreciate your help!
Thanks a lot,
