Hey everyone :)
I bought my punto with a fairly nackered drivers side wing and its really doing my nut in now, but I can't find a new wing in my colour anywhere, it must be really rare! So I'm just wondering if anyone knows someone who's breaking a punto in that colour? Or has anyone had a part sprayed that colour? Is it a good match?

Thanks for any replies :)

I was looking for a matching wing for my mk2b for ages, couldn't find one anywhere! I'd recommend buying a used wing of similar colour then having it sprayed and fitted. I paid £130 for just that a few months ago :)

What is the paint code of yours? (silver sticker on underside of the bonnet)

i have painted a few bonnets that colour and bumpers
it is indeed a nice easy colour that matches well with no blend in of other panels having been needed
i would agree get a good s/h wing but be aware that unless you remove it yourself they are well bonded to the A panel and someone like the hulk can actually put them well out of shape by the door shut if they dont have the knack to remove them sensibly
find a small independant spray shop willing to prepare and paint it for you so you can fit it
i would expect to pay including materials about £70
be aware of the bolt right next to the screen under the rubber, heavy handedness here on removal or refit can cause you to crack the screen
tape up with masking tape the lower corner of the door with a square 4 inches square so when you remove and refit the wing the lower corner doesnt scratch the door as its real easy to do

the drivers wing also has the charcoal filter underneath this needs undoing and dropping but leaving in position so as to get to the bolt on the wing fastener behind it that will need the sealant cutting off around it so as to undo this bolt (or try hammering a quality 10mm socket on)

unless you have a garage this job might be better left for warmer times?

In the new year contact Puntospares (Facebook or Puntospares.com). I bought a sprint blue drivers side wing off them a couple of months ago. I don't know which side you're wanting but it's likely they'll be able to help

Great thanks everyone, I think I will leave it for when it gets warmer, Ill also have a look on that punto spares site before I look for a used wing.

My paint code is 462/A Wrightyy and its also the drivers side too so I hope they can help me :)

Thanks s and b for the advice :)
