Hi everybody was just wondering im at the point where im about to as i type this to remove my 1.2 8v gearbox as im doing the input shaft bearing on it.... my question is because i am on my own with no help at all i need to remove the slave cylinder but someone has said cable tie it to stop the piston from coming out could someone elaborate a little more maybe a pic would help? like i said im sat here and dont want to go any further untill i know how to cable tie it, so far ive replaced passenger cv joint and when i get the box out i will be doing the driver side but im stuck and at the moment im looking at a late finish :(

thanks all sorted now, the problem also i was having was alot of the bolts especially on the suspension side of things was snapping or had to be cut off on both sides so i replaced them all afterwards with stainless steel :)

Seriously, though, when I used to work on my own cars, I used to get through buckets of the stuff.... :D

Nah i have a halfrauds trade card :) (love it btw)

Big DIY tube is like £3 or £4 to me :)

I love the stuff, makes tight situations alot easier (removal)

And prevents seizure later on if removal is needed
