the engine turns over but it just wont fire. usually if i try it a few times it will jump into life but its getting worse.

IF that light stays on - it thinks it trying to be nicked - and stops it starting

If the Light Does go out When the cars done itself test on start up

then Onto seeing if fuel is getting In
and is there a Spark?
