I've always felt a bit sorry for the HGT because it never had the tuning support of the GT that went before it. However, I found some good news for you guys. It looks like there are plans for a Rotrex Supercharger Kit. Claimed BHP increase is 55 BHP, giving you 185 rampaging stallions to play with.

Think thats been around for a good few years. Wouldn't mind it though lol.

Ahh, Rotrex must be a bit slow on their updates then. Just thought I would bring it to the forum attention anyway since there seems a shortage of tuning and remapping for the HGT, forcing tuners to head for the more dangerous, and lesser handling mk1 GT instead.

Having recently had the head off my HGT, the internals are amazingly well made and I reckon those ports could flow loads more gas. A bigger TB and souped up cams would easily soup it up. I wonder what the Alfa guys could offer. Isn't it the same cams as the 1.8TS?

But I often get around 30mpg (cant resist that top end ). More GGs would certainly keep Esso happy.

Clovertech is just finishing a n/a conversion with a stand alone ECU. The work done was without taking the head off and is expected to be in excess of 160bhp.
