i have fixed my judder. it seemed like it was the idle stepper motor was sticking. but now every so often the injection warning light would come on there is no change on performance and is there a way of checking if the engine is fireing an 3 cylinders. all help would be errr

helpful

thanks

The easy way is to find yourself some well insulated pliers and remove and then replace the plug leads one at a time. If the engine gets more lumpy when you remove the lead then you know that it was firing on that one but no longer.

If you remove a lead and it makes no difference to the engine running, it was probably missinmg on that one.

Make sure you have well insulated pliers, and that if you get a whack from the high tension sige of the ignition system you have room to move your head very quickly without injuring yourself. It does happen.

Did this recently to find I had a faulty ignition coil.

Thanks for the advice on the stepper.
