Please, has anyone had this problem. The ABS and Hill Holder failure lights stay on. Had the car at the Fiat specialist and they in turn ran it on several Fiat and Alfa diagnostic computers and also at other dealerships and specialist as well. The brakes, fluid and handbrake are all fine but due to these failures ocurring through the body computer it effects other stuff as well. The aircon doesn't work, the traction control doesn't work, the city steering doesn't work. The diagnostic computers haven't come up with an answer as to where the fault is lying and it's obviously alot of labour trying to check each and every plug.Other than that the car is fine. apparently it can be caused by the heat under the bonnet because the computer sits very close to the engine. Is this true, do I need a new computer, is there one plug somewhere on the car that's causing all this?

I will appreciate it very much if someone has some sort of answer for me.

Yours Thankfully

Thanks to all. The car is in very good condition and so is all the wiring(no currosion). I myself haven't played around with the electronics on the car because I'm not really a mechanic/auto electrician. The computer can be replaced but at average cost of ±540pounds. Then there is the risk it might not be the computer. The fiat and alfa diagnostic computers pick-up the various failures but cannot specify where the problem lies. I will try and contact puntosports.co.uk and see if they can help.

Thanks again to everyone who replyed.
