Afternoon all

Just had my HG done on my mk2 sporting only thing is now it cuts out soon as it warms up. but only if i let it drop below 1000 rpm just dies, just to add runs fine when cold ticks over very nicely.

As you can guess its a pain when im driving, normaly starts stright away after but ive gotta give it some extra throtal for it to run again.

Please help as ive been with out the car for a week now.

Had a similar problem with my 8V. Turned out that the cam timing was slightly out.

could be various things causing the cutting out, faulty phonic wheel, faulty rpm sensor, potentiometer, valve timing, wiring, bad earths,,or just something stupid,, anytime i do a head i always reset the self adaptive parameters and reset the phonic wheel learn so the ecu can learn its new parameters to optimize its running, however id be checking the throttle potentiometer first,, obviously its not hunting at idle as it doesnt idle but the 188 puntos do have problems occasionaly with the potentiometers,, just a suggestion

any help is amazin been given a car to drive around in a vectra 2.2 dti so i want my punto back
