My downpipe on my 1.2 99 punto has frayed in teh flexi pipe and the exaust is blowing pretty badyly and sounds like a few harleys reving at the same time, i tryed to gun gum it up and left it for 30 hours, it made it sound ok for about a hour then it was back to blowing, is there anyway i could repair this?
If not wheres the cheapest place to buy one of these, ive tryed phoning up a few scrappys and none of them have any, i think there all destroyed when they chop the cat of, could i just replace the flexi pipe?

I had the flexi-pipe replaced a few months ago on mine and paid around £70 inc fitting so you should just be a able to replace that part.

At that sort of price better off using new than trying to find one in a scrappy I would have thought. The fitting was done at my local garage.
