Technical Brake pipe fittings

(just remember to put the nut/fitting on before you flare the pipe)

Been there done that, several times Steve. Also very annoying if you do remember to put both nuts on the pipe before flaring the other end and then discover you've put them both on facing the same way - rather than "back to back". Then you can further frustrate the whole procedure by remembering to put both nuts on correctly, flaring the second flare and carefully bend the pipe into some hellishly complicated shape only to find both tube nuts are getting it together on the same end of the pipe! Ah, the joys, the joys!

Similarly make sure the nut is still at the end when you start bending it, they dont go round corners well. I've had one slip along the pipe and been so impressed with the bending work that I hadn't noticed
