Hi,

I recently had my car broken in to. After picking my car up from the garage they said they had had some problems with the alarm. When I drove it away I noticed that the four buttons on the centre console above the electric window switches were not illuminating when I turned my lights on. The heater controls did illuminate though. I took it back to the garage and they said to return it once the head unit had been fitted as the bare wires may have fused something. EVENTUALLY i had my new head unit fitted, so I should take it back to the garage however, its been a couple of months now, and since its a bit of a trek i thought if its a small problem I'll sort it myself. Anyone any suggestions? If it helps I noticed a wire hanging down in the passenger footwell. Looking at it its got a plug on the end and should possibly be plugged in somewhere. Any suggestions? I've added a tagged on a photo to give you some idea.

Cheers :yum:

check fuses underneath steering wheel

remove the centre console and check the bulbs themselves have not blown.

sounds like the fuse though... if all have gone at same time

I've just been and checked both. All the fuses beside the steering wheel are fine, and the bulbs themselves look ok too.

ive got the same problem with the console lights how do you remove the console to get to the bulbs?
