help please, only had my mk2 punto active sport a week its a 52 plate and im having some problems
after having a good look at the engine i decided to check the air filter so i held my hand over the breather hole only to find the engine kept going, so after i stripped down the filter box housing i noticed a half inch gap all way round between the carb housing and the air box opening so it looks like the air is getting sucked in at the joint ( carb to housing ) so to me it looks like some kind of rubber ring or something should seal the gap between the housing and carb, but i dont know for sure because it looks like its missing so the engines sucking in through the gap making the air filter useless
anyone confirm for me please and what part is missing and where do i get 1 anyone please help
