I recently had my clutch and DMF changed on my Punto Evo sporting at 80,000. I noticed an oil leak near the front left driveshaft, turned out to be a seal that had been broken or had broke during the clutch change. It’s been about 1/2 months now and I’ve noticed a wobble/vibration, towards the front left axle when I accelerate and the steering also feels weird going around corners sometimes.

I’ve had my tracking checked, wheels balanced and 3 different mechanics have said all my bearing seem fine. I’m thinking maybe the driveshaft is possibly out of balance or the cv joints are damaged/worn? I’ve also swapped the wheels around to see if it’s a buckled wheel but doesn’t make a difference.

I was wondering if any of you guys have any suggestions and nobody can seem to find an issue

Hi. Its possible to remove both front wheels.. and spin up the driveshafts..

100+ mph in 3 seconds..!!

That would highlight any wheel bearing issue or general imbalance

( the drivers side shaft should have a bobweight.. this may have been disturbed..)
