Hello there I seem to hear a quiet and feel it faintly sort of grinding and scraping when I turn my steering wheel left or right, I seem to only hear it when I’ve stopped or park up? I’ve heard it could be my power steering fluid needs replacing but I’m not sure, anyone have any ideas? Thanks

Ok common issue.

Nothing to do wirh fluid levels... ( it doesnt use any.);)

The bearings on the top of the front suspensions rust easily... light gri di g.. thats the srart..

If it gets worse .. you will feel the springs going BOING..

LOOK IN THE GUIDES ans FAQs

Oh really darn was hoping it was the fluids lol

I’m booked in at my garage on Wednesday so hopefully it’ll be okay til then, is it an expensive job you know?

Where are the guides and FAQs sorry I am new to this!

Thanks for the reply!

Hi. You are very welcome :)

GUIDES.. listed at top of homepage.. on a PC..

Or in with your preferences..etc if on a mobile.

Look at the GrandePunto section .. same car..as is my 2012 punto.. :)
FAQs should be listed there.

It involves removing the front shock absorber.. both sides.

I did a how.to in the PANDA Guides

Probably an hour in a competent garage.

Ps your steering is ELECTRIC.. ;)
