Hi, I have been beaten by a squeak can anyone help,
Roughly 6 weeks ago I drove the car to work, fine, when I finished work and drove home this annoying squeak started, seems to be somewhere near rear passenger side of car possibly behind trim panel but not 100% sure, I have looked under car, shook exhaust, suspension, springs, and heat shield and nothing, did find near side handbrake cable squeaked in its bracket by axle, so tightened the metal bracket up sprayed some oil on the rubber and thought sorted, NO, drove down road and it's still there.
Does not seem to be suspension as going over pot holes or bumps makes no difference to it, seems to be worse on flat smooth surfaces hence bumpy roads make no difference. Anyone else had this, is there anything behind interior panel that could work loose and squeak, any help appreciated.
