hey guys in need o
f some help as this is driving me mad.
I have a fiat punto evo sport. I have a warning light on my dash telling me to check my running lights, I've identified the light in question being my rear tail lights which are LED's, ive taken the light apart and can only get so far but I don't know how to change them, can anyone tell me how or is it a fuse and if so which one because my handbook seems useless

DRL's are one supposed to be illuminated at the front, not the rear.

I suspect what you've actually had fail is a front position lamp / sidelight.

to be fair when I found that my rear tail was out I had a side light out as well but I have changed them since and im still getting the seem error on my dash

Oh right, sorry my misunderstanding, so on of the rear ones has actually failed and doesn't operate when the headlights are switched on

yeah that's correct its an LED but I can get far enough into the light change it if that's possible without going to my main dealer

I thought they were sealed units. I'm surprised that one has failed. Have you checked the wiring to check its getting a power supply from the car?

is it possible that it could be a fuse as it was working before my handbook doesn't indicate which one it could be

Normally same fuse will cover both tail lights, so I'd think it unlikely to be a fuse.

are both segments of the rear light out iirc there are 2 led's in each cluster each doing one light pipe each?

Yeah both of them are out but i cant get into them
