Hi

ive owned my fiat punto gp for two years and used my ipod connection virtually everyday, but recently the ipod with not registated that it connected to the car usb port via the ipod wire and neither does the usb port work with a standard mp3 player.
ive tried my ipod and mp3 player on various other music player and with no problems, so is there an easy fix or will it require me going to the dealership for repair?????

many thanks

yes it charges and playes fine on pc, and ipod dock, but not with the car usb port, fine up till saturday, and the mp3 player is fine until connected to the car,
the aux menu will not even reconise and device is connected

I've had something similar.

My first phone when i got the car was a blackberry bold 9780 and i could connect it to the usb slot and it would play music off my phone perfectly.

I then upgraded to a blackberry bold 9900 and when I plug it in it plays, however if i turn the engine off and back on again it will refuse to play. I have to reset my phone and re sync it with my macbook before it will let me play them again.

I have a 57 plate fiat punto, for some reason my USB port will not work, I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting the battery, even the fuses! The light surrounding the usb works and when I plug in my iphone it will charge for approximately 1 second then stop? I've tried different phones and different wires but it does the same thing? Someone heeeeeelp listening to the radio is killing me I want to play songs from my phone :( does anyone have any solutions or experiencing a similar problems?

Did you try an USB key with MP3 files on ?

a 57 plate is 2007 ? In this case the iPhone doesn't work directly, you need a iPhone adaptor (sold by Fiat - check ebay) and perhaps a blue & me upgrade.
Check forum for upgrade. (blue and me section)
