i have got new light bulbs for the headlights white not yellow like the original one and it is working very fine with no warnings or anything but my question is that i noticed that it is 100 watt not 55 like the one installed but it is the same voltage and the same size and type and everything .. is this can make any damage to the car?

55 watt bulbs will draw about 4 Amps each at 14 volts.
100 watt bulbs will draw about 7 Amps each at 14 volts.

Because of the price of copper, modern car wiring looms are made with the minimum size wiring with very little safety margin. The extra 6 Amps drawn by 2 x 100 watt bulbs could cause the wiring to overheat.
.

thank you guys for your replies now i will have to search for similar bulbs with 55 watt like the originally installed one .. :):):)

The problem is the Punto Evo has a shared Main/Dipped H4 bulb and thus keeping the 100 watts running at night will probably cause damage to the headlight internals and will almost certainly melt the plastic over time. If it had individual bulbs for each then I would be tempted to put 100 watt bulbs in my main beam.

The evo kills the headlamp beam when you go to main beam :)

I put 100watt bulbs in my Renault Clio, and they looked and worked great.. except a couple of fuses went, and oj of my main beams didn't work (but they could have been unrelated, I don't really know)?
