My 1.6 MJet is just about to reach 15000 miles and a couple of things have started to crop up. I will be taking it to the dealer for these in the next week or so and was just wondering if anyoneelse had had any of these and, if so, how long they took to fix at the dealer.

My clutch pedal has gone massively creaky, both in feel and noise and my indicators have started to emit a constant high-pitched beep in the background when on. The traction control also seems to have gotten quite sensative, cutting in when not driving hard on a bone-dry road, but this might be tyre-related.

On a side-note, can anyone recommend a good alloy refurbisher in the North-west or a mobile service that will be able to deal with the polished-edge star alloys and I seem to have marked both the front wheels (I don't know how though!)

I had the same problem on my car at 5000miles.The spring on the clutch pedal touches the spindle and even though there is white grease on it a squeaking noise started.Could not be bothered to book it in so a squirt of wd40 on the spring/shaft and it stopped.Hope this helps.
