So i've noticed theres a lot of questions about the Evo and im picking up my GP today. As there aren't loads on the road i thought it would be good to just say this...

If you have any questions, ASK! I (will) have the car and should be able to comprehensively answer any questions about how it drives, how it looks and how it feels etc.

I found myself looking around this forum for answers and thought if it could centrally answer some on this thread it would help any others considering purchasing the Evo, particularly the GP Model.

Mine is a 1.4 GP 5dr in Easy Lsietening White, red and grey interior, sat nav, mats and alarm (not sure why an alarm isn't standard but costs about £170). From Thames Fiat who have been really helpful throughout and had the car ready in two weeks.

Id be interested to know about the alarm?! Im sure ive read a Thatcham Cat /12 was included (As with most other cars).... I hope so!! :(
And thanks for offering your support/assistance, I agree there is no such post

FOUND IT!! "It's impressive that Fiat includes its full array of safety options with every trim. A Thatcham Category One alarm and immobiliser is fitted"

Old cached copy of Channel 4 Review?!

Immobiliser…. Yes (y)
Alarm…. No :(

I personally found that when I was looking about at cars very few had “Alarms” fitted as standard (crazy in my opinion!) but all have immobilisers.
Must just be a way to squeeze an extra couple of hundred out of customers. :(

picked it up earlier and it looks very tidy. Loving the voice control for changing songs and browsing by artist. Adaptive fog lights coming on when you turn is also an awesome feature, very useful. The alarm i had fitted is also good after your comments above. Cost £170, got two motion sensors on the two drivers pillars one on the near side and the other on the offside. not liking the blue LED which was retrofit with the alarm by the gearstick but it makes it clear that the car has an alarm i suppose. Had a few problems with my HTC Hero staying connected to the Blue and Me but might just be me, sure il find out if i keep using it.

I was going to do some photos of the whole car at some point when its not raining this weekend hopefully. Check back next week and i should have some photos for you :)

Is there any way of turning off 'Shift' display on Punto Evo

I've attached two photos, one of the sensors for the alarm, theres one on each side at one of the retro fitted LED, more photos of the car on my profile once ive uploaded them in a few mins
