well... winter, ice, snow, wind, water... it happened a lot of time that door handle was frozen and defrost liquid was inside car... and pushing that button is impossible. so what you use to prevent freezing handles? (we can bend over and blow, or rub handle with hands... but this could looks weird and probably not very usefully)

i found this is very useful to prevent freezing... a nice piece of stick with few waving leaves.

Haha. Not really. If you know the Barchetta door handles, they are unique and the lever pops out when the button is depressed. In cold weather, the button can freeze and thus cannot be pushed inwards to pop the lever out. So, to prevent this happening, simply find a piece of twig, with or without wavy leaves, and put it behind the lever. The next morning, you can pull the lever without having to depress the button. Simples.:D

A couple of elastic bands looped round the end of the handles does the trick, although less elegantly than a leafy twig :)
