Good night.
I have a problem that may be related to the alarm that comes standard on a 1997 Barchetta.
When I bought the vehicle, the alarm was removed from its location next to the battery.
The car is equipped with central locking, but it did not work.
I bought used motors for both doors.
If I turn the key on the passenger door, everything works perfectly, both doors open and close as I turn the key to the right or left.
But if I turn the key on the driver's side, it does not maintain the open or closed position, it instantly disobeys the command and returns to the position prior to turning the key, and it never sends a signal to the passenger side.
Could it be because the alarm was dismantled? In this case how could I solve it?
Or is it likely that the driver's lock motor is faulty?
I would appreciate it if you could help me solve the problem.
