Went to the Ideal Home today and they had Two Alessi's,One in Orange and one in Lime Green.The Green one wasn't too bad but the interior of the Orange one was a bit OTT

Indeed. I was checking them out the other day on the Fiat website. Three colours, tango orange, lime green and black / white if I remember correctly.
Some minor changes inside, mainly the centre console ashtray thing is changed into a large cd holder (why?) and bluetooth CD player. I don't like the wheeltrims in colour, they look even worse being 13 inch and make it look like a toy car.

I for one like it. Especially the toy car look, it suits the Panda just fine

I thought my wife's Sporting was bad enough with the two stripes, but the Alessi must rate as being the worst looking car i've seen, Only seen the black and white one though.

Only seen the black and white one? Then you have a whole world of pain waiting for you when you see the green and white one then!
The slight modifications, like the sun visors and bluetooth stuff I am a fan of. The styling I am definitely not.
