Hi all first post as i have just joined the forum. Recently became a fiat panda owner 2006 eleganza with the semi auto gearbox triptronic?

took it for a first long distance trip and after parking noticed a large slick underneath, not brake fluid smelt more like atf. anyway started to take off heatshields at the front as that looked like where the leak was coming from.

so found an extra reservoir at the front assuming this is a auto clutch resrervoir??

purchased a haynes however as it states this gearbox is not convered in the manual. so no help there.

level in the res was still above minimum and it hasnt leaked again so my theory was that it had been overfilled in the past?

can anyone confirm fluid type, recomended service interval, and if this has happened to them. also it was a scorching day which may have contributed.

Hi. And welcome :)

Yes it is fluid for driving the robot autochanger.

Commonly termed as SELESPEED fluid.. as ALFA used this system 1st :)

Overfilling..? Not too sure

Some people think the level should actually be set LOW..

Possible it has somehow 'purged air' and frothed the reservoir.. but its not something I have seen.
