Does anyone have any products they can recommend for re-blackening the trim around the 100hp? E.g. around the wheel arches, rear bumper parts...

Have tried a couple of sprays but they don't last more than a few days!

I used a wax based black resto product on a motorbike topbox that had faded. It was messy but did a great job. Used WD40 to clean any smears off bodywork.

Great stuff, will give the wax a go. Just rub it on with a cloth?

shield comes with sponge and microfibre cloth. On rubber and plastic I barley wipe it off at all, just polish any overlap onto then paint to bring the shine back fully.

If your brave enough, then by all accounts, using a heat gun will give the longest lasting results.

Google or YouTube it to see it in action, by all accounts it rejuvenates the plastic by bringing the natural oils, ones removed by UV etc., back to the surface.

I've never tried it personally so can't comment on how hard or effective it actually is, but I would certainly consider giving it a go.

I'd recommend Maguiars plastic restorer, I use it every 6 months, even then, it still looks pretty decent. Bit of a pain though with the 100HPs honeycomb grills
