I wanted roof rails for my 1.2 Panda, I didn't fancy paying 70-120 quid that the listings of ebay seem to want from breakers.
So I fixed myself up with an alternative set, I shortened a set of Toyota ones they just cost £10 at a local scrap yard, I put them on the car today, I'll neatly silicone around the edged with black to make them look even better..

That seems like a good idea.

Here's some better photos, I've since bought some roof bars from ebay locally for £10.50p so the whole thing cost only £20.50p. The next thing I need to do is get a better stereo, I want one with USB and Bluetooth, the one I'm taking out is a bog standard one with cassette. I also like cruise control.

hi, guizzo i like the mods on your roof bars . i was looking for a set of standard roof bars. all my car has is the 4 little black screw out plugs where the bars would fit. your car is the same colour as mine i use the tunnel quite a bit,(freeman hospital ) might of seen as i nip thru wallsend. regards, steve.

it's double din and blu-tooth (no usb as far as i know)

Coinsidence ! I go to the Freeman Hospital every weekday for treatment I'll be next there on monday 14th may at 15:00, if you look in the multi story you may see my car in person it's got a Napoli window shirt on the little back passenger window.
