Just thought I would mention my findings to other members. My dualogic has only ever been getting an average of 35.5 to the gallon which I thought could be better. I have greased the brake pedal pivots which has improved the wooden brake pedal feel and magically improved fuel consumption. Might be with looking at for other members as brake mechanism travels from one side of the cabin to the other.

That's quite common, when left hand drive designs are converted for right hand drive markets.
The pedal operates a bar across the bulkhead, then that operates the brake master cylinder which is still on the left.

Fiat rear disc brakes are the worst for binding.
I only had my Panda three weeks before the brakes bound and howled.

Stripped them off myself and noticed the calipers were built completely dry.
The caliper pins on both front and rears hadn't seen a drop of brake grease at the factory!

After winter is when you might notice issues like this, salt, brake dust and dirt clogs them up.
If they are greased properly, it helps if you get in there with a jet wash every now and then and try washing off the calipers.

Its amazing the difference just spraying those pivots in side the car. The pedal must not return properly. The sliding calliper set up is notorious for seizing.

I've just done wifes rear calipers, slide pins seized solid on one side and very tight on the other. Had to get calipers from a breakers and make one from two. Has any body any ideas on how to lubricate the pins, once installed ? Any ideas how to shift rusted pins, apart from angle grinder.? I need to do mine next and any ideas would be welcome.

Dont faff about simply cleaning out the calipers. Strip them and grease in all the right places. It's not a hard job but pays dividends in having balanced braking.

Also don't forget the back brakes. If there is any doubt about slave cylinder seals just fit new slaves they a 2p a dozen.
