Well the 1.2 dynamic I bought and did a mini restoration on went last month as I wasn't happy with 45 mpg and it's performance after having bumbles multijet torque, I then bought a mint Saab 9-3 turbo which I'm keeping for the girlfriend. I said I'd never buy another 1.3 multijet after bumbles timing chain guides failing ...... but now I've bought one!
It was a pre-reg then an elderly gentleman until he passed away. I've bought it from a body shop that's sorted the corner battle scars, he's had to register it in his name so although 3 owners on the v5 it's really only had one. Now the good bit... 2008 and a genuine 37000 miles with fish And you can tell aswell. It feels tight to drive and the interior is like the day it was built. It's been stood for a few months whilst probate and solicitors did their stuff. The eps light was coming on and off so he's got to sort that with a new battery and clean earth lead first then a recon unit if that fails. Picking it up next Saturday. Can't wait to get back to 57 mpg+ after a month of the saabs 31 mpg!
