My radio/CD player is beginning to play up, and the collection of homemade CDs from Poundland I've burned from my iTunes library all now read 'CD ERROR' all of the time.. (yes, a step back but convenient all the same)

I do prefer the look of the standard radio unit in the Dynamic Panda that I have as it matches the car and is at a fairly central location. I originally wanted to get the Aux-In attachment for the back of it, but I can't get a clear answer on whether or not it's compatible.. There's no 'MP3' logo on it, just the Blaupunt one.

So, I've decided the best bet is to put the Pioneer Single-Din unit I bought for the previous car that's now SORN'ed. It has Aux-In, is rather bland and has red/white lights.. it won't match the Panda at all.

Going to have to buy a bland fascia too that won't mix in with the Panda well.

What kind of head unit have you all moved to? Original, Double Din? How does it look? In my opinion, there's no real 'pretty' option to replace the original bland Radio/CD player :-(

I went for an alpine single din over standard blaupunkt as I wanted usb and phone kit however bit of advice get an original fascia from fiat they are 40-50 unless u get one from scrappy but trust me much better than aftermarket ones they just look crap and the originals are screwed in secure , the aftermarket has crap clips which either break or fall off and disappear down back of dash

Excuse the shaky picture.

I have a kenwood. The main thing ive done though is add small clips that are fitted in between the cage and the cubby hole so that a 7" tablet can be placed there. The 7" tablet is a £30 ebay alcatel job and i loaded a car dash on, a free copy of NEXT maps and a speedo and something to read OBD2.

The clips i made from one of these, i didnt get it from this seller (i got it free and dont know where it came from but looks exactly the same)

On the one i had the two clips are made of rubberised metal thats quite study but bendable, and are bent up the back of the case (the part inside the case isnt covered in faux leather rubber. I then bent them straight and stuck them in between the cage and the cubby hole. For good measure, i had some 'magic mat' (the stuff you can put keys and stuff on your dashboard with) I cut 2 tiny strips off that and glued it to the inside of the hooks.

Does the genuine one come with the LED lights (they look like it anyway) on yours? :)

Anyone know what kind of cable / adapter I'd need?
