Hi

My old Panda has a standard radio like this:

I'm thinking upgrade it for a new one with bluetooth, may be Carplay, etc. I've seem some devices at Aliexpress that seems good choices but really don't know if they're going to be plug&play or if I'll need some adapters, for example:

Does anyone have one of this devices on their car?

Regards

There was already one fitted to my Panda Cross when I bought it.
I've no idea of the make, but it's very good.

I've tried to find a model like that, it seems very similar to the original but no luck :(

Finally I've installed one for Alixp, cheap and with wireless Carplay and all the Android stuff. Also came with backup camera but no time to install it by now.

From this with the old Parrot installed:

Not very difficult to install, I've modified some brackets that doesn't fit "as is" but it has been easy, recommended upgrade.

I know this is a bit late, but for newcomers, I finally bought a single-din model from Boscer from Bol - it was around 200 euro and I think on the high side, but was delivered quickly. If you've installed radios in cars before, this should be easy for you, but if you have not, it will be confusing with so many cables and pins. Thankfully a colleague helped me and he knew to remove the original bracket and replace it with the included bracket. We only needed to buy the tool to REMOVE the existing radio....that would be impossible without the prong tool.

Installing took a bit of trouble since it was a single DIN but the cables were on TOP of the device, so we had to hook it in there, but it worked.

Joying is supposed to be one of the better brands as far as I know. They have this guide:

I wish I found this website before I bought my new system, not just for the device itself, but the information on there. Here is my new one. I like what you did with the MIC there. What is that hole in the dashboard for, behind the gearshift?

Most every model I have looked into has the universal plugs that snap right in, so unless you are doing the backup camera, no wiring is needed.
Normally here in the UK the OEM CD player is controlled by the body computer

They do plug straight in but will be powered on permanently

If you want to have them turn on and off with the ignition

You can use a CANBUS adapter and just work, and power on an off with the ignition

Or

Cheapest option to have it switching on and off via the ignition is to modify the wiring and add a ignition switched control wire

Oh, I see. Yes, it is very slow to turn on each time, and the clock resets. I would like it to be continually powered, but not turned on. Is that what you mean?
