We've had our Panda for less than a year, its done 14000 miles though!
Just lately [i.e. In the last week] the brake pedal has lost its razor sharpness & got a bit of travel. Its still got loads of brakes & will stop just as well if you push the pedal.
Is this just the newness wearing off or could I have a problem? i've checked the fulid level, OK & the pads & linings were checked on its servive 2000 miles ago & there's loads left on them. The hand brake lever doesn't seem to have any more travel than it used to either.
Any thoughts?

It needs checking it could have a leaky piston seal or hose which has allowed air to enter the braking system the handbrake travel won't be directly affected by air in the system as its cable actuated

Sorry, should have said I'm a mechanic!
The hand brake could be affected by failed self adjusters , increased shoe / drum clearance. i should check if the pedal will 'pump up'.
