Technical Blaupunkt Radio/CD driving me mad!

Hi everyone,

My new Fiat Panda standard issue Blaupunkt Radio/CD player is driving me crazy. It seems I have "known fault" no 21! It keeps switching itself on during the night, draining my battery and leaving me stranded . This has been happening for over a month. It's not under warranty. Any suggestions? Is there a fix I can do myself or is this going to cost me a fortune ?

If you get stuck Victoria I have mine kicking it's heels here (I replaced it for one with a USB port)

Have you tried leaving a CD in? This stopped my mum's (1.2 Dynamic 04) CD/radio from coming on as yours does...

have you tried the ignition setting in the menu? can work as it did on mine

Mine does the same thing, and sometimes, when listening to the radio, it switches to the CD player instead.

Just a thought try using a CD cleaning disc a few times and see if this stops it? ive tried it on a vauxhall once that cured the fault.
