I'm on original pads and 45K. Just gone through MOT and they said not even close to needing changing Motorways driving I suppose.

how do they know? they not allowed to remove wheels to look

At just under 24,000 miles my brakes started making a slight scraping noise. As it was only 4 days from its service and it had been standing for a week with heavy rain every day, I decided to leave it until the service and wasn't concerned as rust on discs causes a faint scraping. The day before the service, the slight scrape becamd a louder grinding noise. Ah! Or should it be Oops!? New pads and discs.

you can them clearly though the spokes.....

I had to replace mine with 28000 miles, pads all round and front discs...

Rubbish car...
