Hi,

Looking into coming back to Fiat with a Panda. Probably used as have the cash.

Thinking about the Trekking or Lounge versions but interested to see if there have been any special editions over the years that might be worth a look?

I'm aware of the awesome Antarctic, but don't need the 4x4.

Thanks!

Hey!

With the latest Panda, launched late 2011/early 2012, the Antartica has been the only special edition so far. They've recently launched the Easy+, which might be a limited edition, though not sure as it's essentially an Easy with a bit more kit. Since it's only just been launched it's probably not what you're after, buying for cash.

Bought new the Easy and 4x4 make a lot of sense, but second hand the relatively small price rise for a Lounge makes that look good value against an Easy. The Trekking is rarer (most people seem to go for Pop, Easy or 4x4 from what I've seen) but if you can find one, they offer a decent level of kit for a small price increase (used) over the Lounge :)

See what new deals you can get first. As as been seen on here, you can get a great price which makes it seem not cost effective to go used.

My wife has a TA Trekking soon to be joined by a TA 4x4 for me. The Trekking may not be a Special Edition but it has the raised ride height of a 4X4 and the same look of a 4x4, looks which sets it out from the rest of the current Pandas.

Our Ambient White Trekking has the pumpkin and charcoal interior together with tinted windows, leather steering wheel/gear knob and also a Winter pack - bum warmer and heated front screen, all of which make for a good package.

A Trekking has the advantage of a Traction Plus system for mud/snowy weather plus a certain amount of exclusivity simply because there aren’t many about. We think it is rather “special” and that’s why I ordered a 4x4 with similar spec for myself, a car which will be used off-road occasionally.

I recently took delivery of a white panda trekking TA,green interior and winter pack, didn't realise this car existed until I had picked up a brochure at the dealers. It may not be a special edition but I seams very rare. Most people think it's a 4x4.
